Spider

Spider is the most recent ride to have been removed from Waldameer, and the first ride to be removed in over 10 years. It opened in 1977, replacing Flying Scooter, and operated until 2024. It was notably out of operation for the entirety of the 2018 season while waiting for a custom part to be manufactured. It was sold following the 2024 season to The Terrortorium Haunted House & Amusements in Oxford, Alabama, where it has since resumed operation. It was replaced by Time Twister in 2025.

Spider featured six arms, each of which had two two-passenger tubs mounted to their ends, which spun independently, as the rides arms moved up and down while the full ride spun.
