Chaos was installed in 2019 as the first inverting ride at the park in decades. It is a ride which swings back and forth on a pendulum, eventually building up enough momentum to swing upside down, as the rider vehicle spins as well. It is one of a few rides at Waldameer to feature over-the-shoulder restraints. The ride is located behind the station for L. Ruth Express.
Chaos was originally planned to operate without inverting during the daytime, utilizing its inverting abilities only during the evening hours, in case the inverting operation cycle was not well-received by the general public.
The ride opened in a preview event on April 27 and 28, 2019.
