The 1905 carousel operated at Waldameer for many decades. It had 47 animals, including "11 Muller standers, a Muller lion, a tiger and a Muller goat, a Dentzel deer, numerous Stein & Goldstein jumpers, and a very rare Allan Herschell elephant," as well as a chariot. The ride's figures were auctioned off following the 1988 season alongside the Blue Goose kiddie carousel to fund the expansion of Water World. The current-day Merry-Go-Round utilizes the same building which the 1905 carousel did.
