Fun in the Dark was the first true dark ride at Waldameer. It was located in the northern end of the park. It was sold following the 1950 season to finance the addition of Comet. 10 animatronic stunts were featured throughout the ride, including a Laughing Sam animatronic not unlike the Laffin' Sal still at Kennywood today.
