This is the first of two Whip rides to have operated at Waldameer. It operated in the 1920s between the carousel building and Merry-Go-Round grove. Its closing year is unknown.
Whip rides consist of cars that seated two passengers each, which rotate around a track. Every time the car rounds a corner, it whips its riders around the corner, providing strong lateral forces.
