Aerial Swing was one of the longest-lived rides to have operated at Waldameer. When it opened in the early 1900s, it featured wicker gondolas as rider vehicles, and had electric lighting, a fascinating novelty at the time. In the 1920s, its wicker gondolas were replaced by airplanes, and in 1946 the airplanes were replaced by rocket ships. It was known as "Skyrocket" for a period of time. It operated until the end of the 1972 season, after which it was replaced by Paratrooper.
A very similar ride operated at Cedar Point during the same time period, and that ride was built by Frederick Ingersoll. It is unknown if he was involved with Waldameer's iteration of the ride as well.
Aerial Swing consisted of several rider vehicles that could hold several passengers at once, suspended from the main ride body by large cables. The vehicles rotated through the air slowly around the ride body.

Note that the caption in the top right refers to the ride as "Rocket Plane". It is unknown if that was ever an official name for the ride or if the postcard simply referred to it as that in an unofficial manner. Via Waldameer.
