Waldameer's Wave Pool (sometimes referred to as Giant Wave Pool) opened in 2015 as the kickoff to a large multi-year Water World expansion plan. It is the largest wave pool in the tri-state area, and was inspired by the wave pool located at Holiday World & Splashin' Safari in Santa Claus, Indiana. The pool operates in ten-minute intervals, with ten minutes of waves and ten minutes without, with a buzzer sounding to indicate the start of every wave cycle.
The Wave Pool can be located across the bridge into the southern half of Water World.
