Hello String students! Last week I posted several videos and a lot of sheet music for all my violin, viola and cello students. I hope you've had a chance to look it over. I also hope you enjoyed the video from my dog, Riley. If you are finding it hard to practice, don't worry. Find ways to have fun playing: invent your own song, figure out a song that you like from the radio, play a song you know from general music class or play a review song in one of the different ways listed in the Practice Bingo activity. Email me with ideas, questions, photos of your yard...anything at all. I am home all day and waiting to hear from you! Have a great week!! ...Mrs. Lowe

During the week, I added work for my first year and second year students. Honestly, everything I send usually takes weeks, if not months of work in lessons with me when we are at school. Don't expect that you will be ready for something new since everything you are already playing probably needs work. I hope you are finding that playing your instrument is giving you something to do that makes you happy and calm. Well, maybe not calm all the time since practicing can be hard- but keep it up, you can do this!! I am so proud of you all and I really, really miss you. Keep up those videos and I'll post some this week. Riley says "woof"...Mrs. Lowe

This week I'm going to work on updating the viola and cello pages so that you have new things to work on if you are ready to do that. Remember, once you've finished a piece- send me a video. I love to see you play and I miss you all!!! My dog Riley also created a video for all of you that he asked me to share. He hopes you love it!!! Me too... ~Mrs. Lowe
