Mrs. O is the director of the Fourth Grade Chorus at the Intermediate School. She also directs the 6th Grade Rhythm Machine as well as teaching general music classes to grades 4-6. Next year will be Mrs. O's twelfth year teaching in Victor. Prior to teaching in Victor, she was a choral director in another school district for six years. She may look familiar to many of you because she used to teach kindergarten and first grade music at the ECS. Mrs. O loves teaching fourth grade chorus because she enjoys the excitement that comes with the very first choral experience at Victor. Fourth grade chorus is a place where all students work together to create beautiful music and we have a lot of fun doing it! Mrs. O lives in Pittsford with her husband Chris, who is a high school band director, and her three kids, who are triplets and will be seniors next year. She is a graduate of the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam where she majored in music education with concentrations in piano and clarinet. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her family, reading, hiking, going to her children's performances, and of course, making music.
