Mrs. Spitaliere is the director of the Presto (4th grade), Vivace (5th grade) and Allegro (6th grade) Orchestras at the Victor Intermediate School. She teaches group lessons for violin, viola, cello and bass students, as well as directing the select Fiddle Club ensemble. She also works with Mrs. Judge (our high school orchestra director) to prepare the Suzuki group students to join the orchestra as well!

Next year will be Mrs. Spitaliere's 2nd year teaching in Victor, but her 11th year teaching orchestra overall. She started her career teaching orchestra on Long Island, but moved back to the Rochester area to work with the students in Victor. She attended SUNY Fredonia for her undergraduate and CUNY Queens for her Master's degree, majoring in music education with a concentration in cello at both schools.

She loves the energy and enthusiasm that the beginning students bring to each lesson and rehearsal, but also really enjoys challenging the most advanced students to continue to grow. She also is a huge fan of fiddle, orchestral, jazz, world, traditional, rock music...you name it...and sharing the love of all styles of music with her string students.

In her free time, Mrs. Spitaliere enjoys spending time with her 2 year old daughter, husband and dog Dusty, reading, gardening, biking, and cooking.
