Dear Families,

I recorded about 10 songs that we sing in music class in Kindergarten and 1st grade. Please have your Kindergartener listen to them. You can listen to them during a snack break or during breakfast or lunch. You can listen to them during quiet time or whenever!

The more children listen to a song, the faster they will be able to learn in music class. These songs are all sung in a key that is most developmentally appropriate for young developing voices. The songs have simple accompaniment so that the students will naturally focus on the melody. I typed out the lyrics as well. These songs are singing games that we will play in class. We will then use these songs as the foundation for music literacy.

Listen and watch as much as you want!! Enjoy them all summer! I can't wait to sing and play with you when we get back together!!
