6th Grade Band

Welcome to the 6th Grade Band page! Your responsibility for band is to continue to learn your parts to the best of your ability, so when we return to rehearsals, we can continue our work together and finish preparations for a fabulous concert on June 3rd! We are in great shape and will be able to pick-up right where we left off, as long as you keep playing at home.

Click on these links to access a recording of each of our band songs. You can listen and play along for fun! As you listen and work on your own, be sure to use the key signatures very carefully, count all rhythms to a very steady beat, use your best sound, control your breathing to 2-4 measure phrases and use the dynamics for the best effect! That will give you the same total amount of playing time we have in band rehearsals. Focus on only 2 or 3 pieces a day, like we do in class.
