Welcome Clarinet & Bassoon players!
Thank you to those that are using the Essential Elements Interactive website to send me recordings of your work. I love hearing you play and you are bringing smiles to me every day! Keep them coming :-)
*If you are uncomfortable recording, please know that I am the only that will hear you play and it is sound only. These are not graded, they are "Pass" or "Redo" only and I will provide feedback with corrections to make and celebrations of all you do well. If you do not wish to do this, you must keep a really good practice record of your work to submit when school returns.
Your practicing should look like your practice sheet- follow each step carefully and don't skip any. When you are done working for the day, perform something you are proud of for your family and record it for me!
This week is our last official assignment of the school year, yay! WE did it!!! Please use "6th Grade Woodwinds Week of June 8th" practice sheet as your guide. Be sure to complete your "End of the Year Assessment" and wrap-up any book work you have not yet completed. The assessment includes a submission of a specific song and scale, as listed on the sheet for each lesson group. This week you can also participate in the "Gear up for summer" photo challenge and try out some new fun music- "Spongebob Squarepants", "Stranger Things" and "Jurassic Park"!
