Ms. Moore is the director of the Beginning Band and the 5th Grade Band at VIS. She has been teaching at Victor Intermediate School since 2004, taught at Allegany-Limestone Elementary & Middle Schools for 6 years before coming to Victor and has been teaching band for at total of 22 years. She loves teaching all instruments, but started playing the flute when she was in the 4th grade. She loves teaching beginning players because they are full of excitement and energy! She also loves to see how much they can learn in just one school year, it's always amazing!

Ms. Moore is a graduate of the SUNY Fredonia School of Music, holding a bachelor's and Master's degree in Music Education, as well as Performance Certificate on Flute. In her last semester at college, she was honored by winning the annual Concerto Competition and performed solo with the Fredonia College Symphony Orchestra. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her two daughters- Madison & Emmalee, teaching private flute lessons, reading, traveling and vacationing at the beach.
