Awesome 3D animations, seriously animated Chinese kung fu actions, and lots of witty writings! The movie follows basically the same stereotypical American zero-to-hero theme---if you think you can do it, you can do it. But what clicks me is the very way of seeing yourself as you are now! Po's flashbacks that reveal his abandoned childhood have created mental blocks to finding the "inner peace" that is essential to uncovering the highest dimension of kung fu. Po eventually overcomes it as he realizes that "you've got to let go of that stuff from the past because it just doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is what you choose to be now."

Po's success in beating Lord Shen has also highlighted the power of "collaboration" as it would be impossible to battle against Shen's “unstoppable” new weapon without the support of the Furious Five. This probably is the key wisdom for success in life — self confidence and getting as much support from others.

With no expectation of any depth of American's perception of Chinese kung fu, which normally stops at the level of Bruce Lee's kind of agile actions or Jackie Chan's flexible stunts, I was pleasantly surprised by the philosophical portrayal of the ultimate power of Chinese kung fu — you don't win by exerting fierce effort against your enemy but rather by diverging your enemy's effort or redirecting it back to your enemy!
