Acts 2:28 Means Jesus Was Glorified With Divine Nature!
***What Does Acts 2:28 TRULY Mean?
Here is Acts 2:28 from the KJV. “Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.”
Jesus says that the Father has MADE KNOWN to him the way to receive ETERNAL LIFE.
Notice that it says, You SHALL make me FULL of joy WITH Your COUNTENANCE.
The prophecy in Psalm 17:15 teaches us that Jesus will awake or be resurrected with God’s LIKENESS or IMAGE, which means to be made a partaker of the Divine Nature of immortality, according to 2 Peter 1:4.
And the Apostle Peter, who is preaching the very first Gospel message right after being filled with the Holy Spirit is referencing Psalm 21:4-6, but he is only quoting verse 6.
The context in verse 4 teaches us that Jesus asked his God for LIFE and God GAVE the Son of MAN, Jesus ETERNAL life after the cross and resurrection.

Jesus Was GLORIFIED After the Cross and Resurrection!
Let us begin this study by reading the CONTEXT. This passage of Scripture is the very first GOSPEL message preached by the Apostle Peter.
In other words, this is the TRUE Gospel of Jesus Christ. And even many of the Jews BELIEVED in the TRUE Jesus that the Apostles teach.
Acts 2:21-41.
“And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the NAME of the Lord shall be saved. (The Son of MAN, Jesus was given a NEW NAME after the cross and resurrection, according to the prophecy in Isaiah 62:2-8 and the fulfillment in Philippians 2:8-11, Revelation 3:12.

Acts 2:22. You men of Israel, (And all Christians) hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a MAN APPROVED of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God DID by (Or which God did THROUGH) him in the midst of you, as you yourselves also know:
Acts 2:23. Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
Acts 2:24. Whom God has raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
Acts 2:25. For David speaks concerning him, (Or David PROPHESIED concerning the Messiah, Jesus, saying to his God, Yahweh) I (Jesus) foresaw the Lord (Yahweh) always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved: (Or more correctly translated and understood, “He is my right hand, as in, Yahweh HELD the right hand of His human Son, Jesus.” according to Psalm 139:10, and Isaiah 41:13)
Acts 2:26. Therefore, did my heart REJOICE, and my tongue was GLAD; moreover also my FLESH shall rest in hope: (According to John 5:39, Jesus said that the Scriptures TESTIFY of him.
In other words, Almighty God MADE KNOWN to His Son that the Scriptures PROPHESIED of him.
And thus, Jesus understood that he would be resurrected and ASCEND to the Father to be seated at His right hand on His throne)
Acts 2:27. Because You will not leave my soul in hell, neither will You suffer Your Holy One to see corruption.
Acts 2:28. You have made known to me the WAYS of LIFE; You shall MAKE me FULL of joy WITH Your countenance. (I will explain the meaning of this verse below after you read the rest of the CONTEXT)
Acts 2:29. Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulcher is with us unto this day.
Acts 2:30. Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, He would raise up Christ to sit on His throne;
Acts 2:31. He, seeing this before, spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
Acts 2:32. This Jesus has God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
Acts 2:33. Therefore, being by the right hand of God EXALTED, and having RECEIVED of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he has shed forth this, which you now see and hear.
Acts 2:34. For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he said himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit you on My right hand, (In other words, come and JOIN Me , your God and Father, on MY throne to SIT at My right hand as My Lord to rule over the earth for 1000-years)
Acts 2:35. UNTIL I make your foes your footstool.
Acts 2:36. Therefore, let all the house of Israel KNOW ASSUREDLY, that God has MADE that same Jesus, (The MAN APPROVED of God) whom you have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Acts 2:37. Now when they heard this, (Speaking of after they heard this TRUE Gospel) they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the Apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Acts 2:38. Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the NAME of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Notice that the NAME of Jesus is “Lord” in verse 36.
In other words, the phrase “God has MADE that same Jesus, whom you crucified, but Lord and Christ” means that God gave His human Son the NAME or the TITLE of being a Lord and ANOINTED him as the new God over the earth during the world to come for 1000 years, according to Hebrews 1:8,9.
So then, when you read the TITLE “Lord Jesus Christ”, know and understand that it was the Son of MAN, a MAN APPROVED of God, whom God MADE or HIGHLY EXALTED to become both Lord and Christ after the cross and resurrection.
And if you believe in the NAME of the only BEGOTTEN Son, and that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God who suffered and died for your sins, you shall be saved and call him Lord, to the GLORY of Almighty God the Father, according to Philippians 2:8-11, you SHALL receive the Holy Spirit)
Acts 2:39. For the promise (Of salvation) is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Acts 2:40. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
Acts 2:41. Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.”
So then, according to the CONTEXT, it was the Son of MAN, a MAN APPROVED of God, who suffered and died on the cross for the sins of the world.
And Jesus laid down his own life of his own free will so that WHOSOEVER of any human being who BELIEVES that Jesus is both Lord and Christ shall be saved and receive the Holy Spirit to dwell in them.
Now let us dissect Acts 2:28 into two sections so that you can truly see the HUMAN Son of God.
Here is Acts 2:28(a).
“You have made known to me the WAYS of LIFE;...”
In other words, Almighty God the Father TAUGHT His Son, the Son of MAN, Jesus, that the Scriptures prophesied of him as being the Messiah.
Here is one of those PROPHECIES.
Psalm 16:5-11.
“The LORD is the portion of my INHERITANCE and of my cup: You maintain my lot. (Or more correctly translated, “Yahweh is the portion of my INHERITANCE.
And of my cup, You HELP me OBTAIN my DESTINY”)
Psalm 16:6. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. (Or I have the promise of a good inheritance. This is what You created me for!)
Psalm 16:7. I will bless the LORD, (Or I will bless Yahweh) who has given me counsel: (Or guidance) my reins (Or in my MIND Your guidance) also INSTRUCTS me in the night seasons. (In other words, Yahweh gave Jesus dreams in which God TAUGHT him the Scriptures.
And, according to Isaiah 50:4-9, God awoke Jesus every morning to teach him His ways)
Psalm 16:8. I have set the LORD always before me: (Or like flint, I have set my face to do Yahweh’s will) because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. (Or He is holding my right hand helping me to be seated at His right hand in GLORY)
Psalm 16:9. Therefore, my heart is GLAD, and my GLORY REJOICES: (Or my heart is glad and rejoices in my GLORY, which You shall GIVE to me) my flesh also shall rest in hope. (Or my flesh shall inhabit a place of refuge)
Psalm 16:10. FOR (Or because You have promised me that) You will NOT leave my soul in hell; neither will You suffer Your Holy One to see corruption. (Now, for the Christians who dogmatically demand that Jesus is Yahweh Himself in the flesh, Hosea 11:9 clearly teaches us that God is NOT that MAN, the Holy One in the midst of you.
And Numbers 23:19 also clearly teaches us that God is NOT a MAN and neither is God the Son of MAN)
Psalm 16:11. You WILL SHOW me the path of LIFE: in Your PRESENCE is FULLNESS of joy; at Your RIGHT HAND there are pleasures for evermore.”
And Hebrews 12:2 clearly teaches us that God SET or placed before the Son of MAN, Jesus, a joy of REWARD for obeying all his God and Father’s will, even to endure the cross.
And that reward for enduring the cross was to be SEATED at the RIGHT HAND of Yahweh on Yahweh’s throne.
Hebrews 12:2.
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who FOR the joy that was SET before him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and is SET down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
But that was only PART of the Messiah’s reward. The other part is in the second half of Acts 2:28.
Here is Acts 2:28(b).
“...You shall MAKE me FULL of joy WITH Your countenance.”
The Greek word translated as “countenance” means visage, which means appearance or IMAGE.
It also means PERSON, and presence. And it means having the view TOWARDS being in the front or being face to face with Yahweh’s presence.
In other words, the Son of MAN, Jesus, was GLORIFIED to be made a partaker of the DIVINE NATURE of IMMORTALITY.
So then, according to the CONTEXT of Acts 2:28 its TRUE sound Biblical meaning is that God GLORIFIED His HUMAN Son with eternal life and GAVE him all power and authority to JUDGE the world by his LIFE that he lived in RIGHTEOUSNESS.

And after you understand that the REASON that Yahweh did that is to STILL His ENEMIES, Satan and the fallen angels.
Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become “a” Lord, “a” King, and “a” God, under and subject to his God and Father in order to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
