Book 12 Chapter 6. What Do ONE God Verses Actually Mean?

The Difference Between “There is but one God”, and “Our God is one Lord”!

Book 12 Chapter 6.

Jesus BECAME a God AFTER the Cross and Resurrection!

Every verse of Scripture in the New Testament clearly identifies Almighty God as being the Father.

In other words, the Son of Man, Jesus, was made to become a God under and subject to his God and Father.

We covered all of the Scriptures proving this Sound Biblical Truth in the previous 5 chapters of Book12.

So, if you have not read those first 5 chapters, then I encourage you to do so if you have any doubts that the God of Jesus MADE His HUMAN Son both Lord and Christ to RECEIVE all power and authority to rule over the earth for ONLY 1000 years during the world to come.

And the Son of Man, Jesus, being MADE a Lord, a King and a God under and subject to his God happened AFTER the cross and resurrection, according to Acts 2:36, Matthew 28:18, Romans 1:3,4, Romans 14:8,9, Philippians 2:8-11, Revelation 5:12, Psalm 2:1-12, Psalm 110:1-7, Acts 2:22-42, and many other verses of Scripture.

In this chapter we will focus on the TRUE sound Biblical meaning of Jesus being ONE with the Father.

So, let us begin chapter 6 of Book 12 by reading 1 Corinthians 8:6 where the Father is clearly identified as being the ONE God to Christians.

1 Corinthians 8:5,6.

“For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)

1 Corinthians 8:6. But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.”

And God MADE the Son of MAN, Jesus, to become a Lord, a King, and a God AFTER the cross and resurrection, according to Acts 2:22-42, which is the FIRST Gospel message.

Satan is “called” THE god of this present world in 2 Corinthians 4:3,4, but yet not one Christian tries to force Satan to be one and the self-same being as Almighty God the Creator.

And that is because all Christians know and understand that Lucifer was SET on a throne to rule over the earth, but he rebelled against Almighty God to become God’s enemy, Satan, the Devil.

In other words, at one time, Lucifer was ONE with God, but then he corrupted himself and DEPARTED from being ONE with God.

But he is still called a god, howbeit, he is a FALLEN god, a fallen Elohim, or a fallen angel.

And Satan is a LYING god along with all of the other FALLEN gods who waged a WAR in the universe long before God created Adam and Eve.

Therefore, BEFORE Jesus was made to become a Lord, a King and a God under and subject to his God AFTER the cross and resurrection, Jesus said in John 17:1-3 that the Father is the ONLY TRUE God.

And in John 8:44, Jesus teaches us that Satan is a LYING god.

Now, Jesus does not call Satan a god in John 8:44, but we can see that Jesus understood that there are many who are “called” gods.

For you see, Jesus quotes part of Psalm 82 in John 10:34,35.

Psalm 82:1-8.

“A Psalm of Asaph. God (Speaking of Almighty God the Father) stands in the congregation of the mighty; He judges among the gods. (By the MAN that He ordained and raised from the dead, according to Acts 17:23-31)

Psalm 82:2. How long will You judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. (Selah means to pause and ponder on this. It SEEMS unjust to us and the good Elohim for God to ALLOW Satan to continue doing the same things that he did during the end of the PREVIOUS age of the earth.

But God is gathering His WITNESSES to judge the FALLEN angels, according to 1 Corinthians 6:3)

Psalm 82:3. Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

Psalm 82:4. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

Psalm 82:5. They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

Psalm 82:6. I have said, You are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. (The FALLEN angels are still the sons of God. And thus, Satan is also one of the sons of God.

But Satan and his angels, the Elohim, who followed Satan to wage a war in the universe, are now God’s ENEMIES)

Psalm 82:7. But you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

Psalm 82:8. Arise, O God, judge the earth: for you shall INHERIT all nations.”

Now, the God who Created man would already own everything and everyone that He has Created.

Therefore, the God in Psalm 83:8 is NOT Almighty God the Father, who alone and by Himself that makes all things, according to Isaiah 44:23,24.

And thus, Psalm 82:8 is a PROPHECY of the resurrection of the Son of MAN, Jesus, being made to become the God over the whole earth to JUDGE the earth and INHERIT all nations.

Also compare Psalm 83:8 with Isaiah 42:1-6 and Isaiah 44:1-9, where the God of Jesus prophesied to give him people for his LIFE being a ransom for all who believe.

So then, while the Bible ITSELF actually teaches us that there are MANY who are called god, church TRADITION argues that they are all FALSE gods and IDOLS made by men.

And thus, some Christians have never been taught that God has HIGHLY EXALTED the Son of MAN, Jesus, to be seated on his God and Father’s throne for ONLY 1,000 years during the world to come, UNTIL the Father puts all of His enemies under the feet of Jesus.

In other words, some Christians have never been taught that God is in the process of cutting down Satan and the fallen angels to PROMOTE the Son of MAN, Jesus, to REPLACE Satan as the God over the whole earth for 1000 years for the purpose of JUDGING Satan and the fallen Elohim or fallen gods.

And we who believe and endure unto the end shall replace the fallen angels to rule and reign WITH Jesus for 1000 years.

So then, the SIMPLE truth is that the phrase “ONE God” means to be ONE in AGREEMENT with the Creator and NOT to be like Lucifer who REBELLED against his God.

For you see, Jesus clearly teaches us in John 17:22-26 that we who believe in Jesus shall ALSO be made to become kings, lords, and gods under and subject to Jesus.

And Satan, the god of this present world, is NO LONGER in AGREEMENT with his God.

Now that you know and understand the TRUE Sound Biblical God INTENDED meaning of Jesus being ONE with the Father, let us go through a few of the verses in the New Testament with the phrase “ONE God” to see who the context of those verses are identifying as being the ONE God.

Mark 12:28-34.

“And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?

Mark 12:29. And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is ONE Lord: (Or Yahweh OUR God is ONE Yahweh. Here in this verse, Jesus clearly identifies Yahweh as being his God right along with the children of Israel.

Some Christian may try to argue that the Father was only the God of Jesus during the days of his flesh, but they fail to understand that even after Jesus ascended into heaven, the now glorified Jesus called Almighty God his God four times in Revelation 3:12,13)

Mark 12:30. And You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment.

Mark 12:31. And the second is like, namely this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

Mark 12:32. And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, you have said the truth: for there is ONE God; and there is none other but He: (The first commandment is to LOVE Yahweh our God with every fiber of our being, and that means BELIEVING in and OBEYING Almighty God the Father.

In other words, we are NOT to obey the LIES of the FALLEN god of this present world and the doctrines of his devils)

Mark 12:33. And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.

Mark 12:34. And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, You are not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst asked him any question.”

So, in this verse, we clearly see that the ONE LORD is referring to Almighty God the Father, the God of Jesus.

Romans 3:30.

“Seeing it is ONE God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.”

Again, the context in Romans 3:22-26, is clearly identifying the ONE God as being Almighty God the Father, by whose grace He made Jesus to be the propitiation for sins.

Jesus is our RIGHTEOUSNESS of the ONE God by faith.

1 Corinthians 8:6.

“But to us there is but ONE God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in Him; AND one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.”

Again, it was the Son of MAN, Jesus, the HUMAN Son of God, whom his God and Father MADE both Lord and Christ AFTER the Cross, according to Acts 2:36.

And God ANOINTED Jesus to become a God because Jesus LOVED righteousness and hated evil, according to Hebrews 1:8.9.

In other words, because Jesus overcame the world to be ONE in agreement with his God and Father, Yahweh rewarded His human Son with the Divine nature of immortality and also GAVE his all power and authority to judge the earth, according to John 5:26,27 and Matthew 28:18.

Ephesians 4:6.

“One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”

This verse is self-explanatory and clearly identifies the Father as being the ONE God.

1 Timothy 2:5.

“For there is ONE God, and one mediator between God and men, the MAN Christ Jesus;”

Again, this verse makes it perfectly clear that Jesus is NOT the ONE God.

But rather, the now highly exalted Son of MAN, is the MEDIATOR between God and men.

James 2:19.

“You believe that there is ONE God; you do well: the devils also believe, and tremble.”

James 1:1 opens with a greeting to the twelve tribes of Israel and clearly defines a difference between God and Jesus Christ.

And the context in James 2:21 is speaking about the God of Abraham.

So again, the ONE God in James 2 verse 2 is referring to Yahweh the God and Father of Jesus.

Malachi 2:10.

“Have we not all ONE Father? Has not ONE God CREATED us? Why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?”

And lastly, Jesus himself clearly identifies the FATHER as being the ONE true God in John 17:3.

John 17:1-3.

“These words spoke Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You:

John 17:2. As You have GIVEN him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as You have given him.

John 17:3. And this is life eternal, that they might know YOU the ONLY true God, AND Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.”

Let us read John 17:1-3 again with some comments to add some clarity so that you can understand what the Holy Spirit has revealed to me.

The words highlighted in orange refer to Almighty God the Father, the God of Jesus.

The words highlighted in yellow refer to the HUMAN Son of God BEFORE the cross and resurrection.

The words highlighted in light blue refer to the GLORIFIED Son of MAN, Jesus, after the cross and resurrection.

Jesus is praying to the Father knowing and understanding the PROMISES in the Scripture to RECEIVE the Divine nature of immortality and POWER if he OBEYS his God and Father to endure the cross.

John 17:1-3 with comments to add clarity.

“These words spoke Jesus, (Speaking of the Son of MAN, Jesus, BEFORE his God and Father GAVE him GLORY, and POWER after the cross and resurrection) and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify Your Son, (Your HUMAN Son) that Your Son (Your soon to be GLORIFIED Son) also may glorify You:

John 17:2. As You have GIVEN him power over all flesh, (As in, You have PROMISED in Your word to GIVE to him) THAT (Or so THAT of in order that) he should give eternal life to as many as You have GIVEN him.

John 17:3. And this is life eternal, that they might know YOU the ONLY true God, (Or more correctly translated, that they might know YOU the ONLY TRUTHFUL God) AND Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.”

The Greek word that is “translated” as “sent” literally means, whom You have COMMISSIONED.

And the English word commissioned means to give POWER and authority to someone to accomplish the task that they are given to do.

So again, CLEARLY, Jesus is NOT the ONE God, but rather, the Son of MAN, Jesus, was made to become a God under and subject to his God and Father after the cross and resurrection just as it is PROPHESIED in the Scriptures.

And after you understand that the REASON that Yahweh did that is to STILL His ENEMIES, Satan and the fallen angels.

Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become “a” Lord, “a” King, and “a” God, under and subject to his God and Father in order to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
