The junior members would like to thank all those senior members, for making the day so enjoyable.

COACHING SESSION

The Cheshire County Coach, Joyce Harrison is coming to the club this coming Saturday, 7th July, to see and give a little coaching to the Junior Members.

SPECIAL JUNIOR TOURNAMENT

On Saturday 14th July, as part of the club’s 60th Anniversary celebrations the juniors will shoot a Portsmouth Round, 5 dozen arrows at 20 yards on a 60cm face. So that ALL juniors have an equal chance of winning this will be a Handicap Shoot.

A handicap shoot means that whatever score a junior finishes with, they will then have an allowance added to their score. The amount of the allowance depends on what the junior's handicap is.

For an experienced junior archer who has a low handicap the amount added on will be lower than that of a newer junior archer whose handicap is high. If all juniors shoot to their handicaps then all the scores should be equal, give or take a few points.

At the Presentation of the awards, any Classification Certificates & Badges etc. gained to date by juniors, will also be Presented.

The awards ceremony will be followed by lunch, provided by the Club, consisting of a BBQ with Cakes etc.

The Families of our junior members are cordially invited to attend and enjoy the occasion too.

IMPORTANT.

To get an idea of how many people we will have to cater for, we ask juniors who will be attending that day to put their name on the white board in the clubhouse, plus the number of family members who will be attending the BBQ. (Please state any Vegetarian or similar dietary needs)

The usual Saturday morning session times will apply to this shoot.

      • Arrive 10.00 am to tackle up.

      • Sighters 10.30 pm prompt.

      • Presentations & BBQ. 1.00 pm approximately
