The Bindery maintains a collection of spare parts that may be used for replacements. Parts will only be added to this collection when requested by the Bindery, or assigned by Acquisitions staff. If Acquisitions assigns parts to this collection, they will be brought to the Cataloging Department.

Procedure:

    2. Create a new holdings record with permanent location Bindery (sibbindery) and call number Spare parts

       1. 852 8_ $$b ESM_SML $$c sibbindery $$h Spare parts

    3. Create an 866 field listing the available part

       1. 866 _0 Score, flute, clarinet, bassoon

    4. Suppress the record from discovery

    5. Save and release the record
