Alma employs MARC holdings records, as Voyager did
Existing holdings records in Alma may be edited in the same way that bibliographic records are, by clicking on "Edit"
To create a new holdings record:
From a template
Click on "Templates" on the left side of the screen
Click on the + next to MARC 21 Holdings
Select Private, Shared or Community and click on the +
Click on the name of the template, then select New from the dropdown that appears
The new holdings record will display for editing
To create a new holdings record without a template
Select "Add holdings" from the toolbar above the record (or Ctrl + Alt + H)
Or Drop down the File menu, and select New/MARC 21 Holdings
To open the Form editor which will allow you to select values
Ctrl + F, Escape to close
Or Under the Edit menu, Open Form Editor
When finished editing, File menu/Save and Release (or Ctrl + Alt + R)

For items going to the Bindery (scores, books)
Item is in temporary location (yes/no)
