Voted for TX HB3165 (In alignment with Biden's 30x30 Land Grab Plan)
TX HB 3165 (State Rep. Justin Holland (R) sponsored this bill) and HJR 138 seeks to establish a Texas Land and Water Conservation Fund. 95% of Texas’s land is privately owned, and 240,000 acres of the land of Texas is ‘lost’ each year to development. A study by Texas A&M finds that only 4% of Texas’s natural resources are protected. The problem with this bills is that it will “create a $2 billion slush fund using Rainy Day Funds, federal grant money and other donations to permanently place Texas’ private property under the control of Environmental NGO’s and the government” (American Stewards of Liberty, pg. 1). The bills align perfectly with “Biden’s 30x30 plan to set aside 30 percent of our nation’s land and oceans by 2030 and Texas, with this bill, will assist the federal government in achieving this goal within our great state” (American Stewards of Liberty, pg. 2). While protecting GOD's creation is good, it is unconstitutional to steal the property of Texans and infringe upon their property rights.
