Voted Against Defunding Pride Month in the Military
Roy of Texas Part A Amendment ( an amendment to H.R. 4365) No. 175 states, "None of the funds appropriated by this act may be used to carry out the observance of Pride Month authorized by the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness for the Cultural Observances and Awareness Events List." The amendment basically seeks to defund pride month in the military and other woke military programs, but eighteen (18) Republicans voted against the amendment and four Republicans did not vote, allowing the amendment to be killed.
