Voted for the Assault Weapons Ban of 2022 (H.R.1808)

H.R.1808 - Assault Weapons Ban of 2022 seeks to make it illegal to sell, manufacture, transfer, or possess a semiautomatic rifle. It also bans high capacity weapons. The bill passed the House 217-213 with five Democrats and a majority of Republicans voting against the bill and two Republicans voting for the bill with a majority of Democrats. The bill is not expected to pass the Senate.
