Voted Against the China Financial Threat Mitigation Act (H.R. 3044)

The China Financial Threat Mitigation Act (H.R. 3044) seeks to strengthen the United States response to China by requiring "the Financial Stability Oversight Council to analyze emerging financial threats from the People's Republic of China, to strengthen international cooperation in the mitigation of such threats, and for other purposes." The bill passed 400-5. All the nay votes were from Republicans Representatives. As of now it is unknown why they voted against the bill.
