The Skipanon River Bridge on the Fort Stevens Highway Spur is an example of a small scale moveable bridge built by the Oregon State Highway Department.
The bridge consists of three spans, single concrete girder approach spans with a steel girder main span.
The main span was originally designed to be movable with the span hinging upward in a bascule. The draw opperations ware all manual.
The moveable span was fixed at an unknown date.
