The Bear Creek Bridge is a classic reinforced concrete beam bridge constructed during the 1920's and 30's. The bridge features many of the standard aesthetic treatments of the era, such as the architectural railing.
The Bear Creek Bridge is also one of the remaining bridges from the original Lower Columbia River Highway alignment. Others include the Tide Creek Bridge in Columbia County, and the McCarthy Creek Bridge in Multnomah County.
