Fall Holiday Hills ends on November 15th at 11:59 PM EST!
Extensions given out for this Holiday Hills will end on November 21st at 11:59 PM EST!
Skres
Heh. Maybe I oughta join in on the fun myself!
Y'know. To make sure ya don't turn the place upside-down.
Skres, the Ruler of the Distortion World, has been reminded that there's a mess of Dimensional Crystals scattered across her domain and she's roped GCSF members into helping her clean them up!
She's opened up portals to the Distortion World to grant you access to the alternate dimension. Unlike the last time she did this however, your characters are not always forcibly transformed into their feral forms.
By exploring the Distortion World and/or aiding Skres, your team will earn Dimension Crystals to turn in for exclusive rewards and Variant recruits that are only available for the duration of Fall 2025 Holiday Hills!
AREA:
The Distortion World is a creepy and unsettling place that scarcely makes any sense to those who journey into it... just the way its ruler likes!
Around you is an endless abyss of swirling mists and floating chunks of rust-colored landmasses. It's clear that this realm does not abide by the laws of physics as waterfalls can flow upwards into basins high above, structures are suspended sideways along the many rock formations scattered across your immediate view, and even gravity doesn't seem to want to work with you.
Every step feels "floaty", allowing you to jump higher than you ever have before. Each of the islands has its own gravitational pull, which forces you to land on it. It's disorienting to say the least.
You've been tasked by Skres to look for Dimensional Crystals, glittery gemstones with colors that seem to shift as you move around it. It shouldn't be too difficult to find them littering the ground, sunken in the various small pools of water, or even as full deposits of mineral throughout this vast space.
Yet, even with a goal in mind, you can't help but marvel at the sheer oddity of the new world around you. Surely there's time to stop and explore a little, right?
[ The images below are loosely for inspiration on how to depict the area. These are primarily optional, so feel free to come up with your own interpretations while keeping to the overall theme of the event! ]

🔮 This activity is NOT a dungeon! All Distortion World submissions must fall under Task 05 | Distortion World Escapades!
🔮 As usual, art and writing submissions must the following criteria to be considered valid:
art pieces must feature at least 1 player character and a background
written pieces must have a final word count of at least 500 words
🔮 Be sure to check the Earning Poke guide to see what counts as a simple or complex dungeon background, and for requirements for characters to be counted as a part of a piece for rewards!
🔮 Characters can be depicted searching for Crystals, but this is not mandatory! You can also simply portray characters exploring the Distortion World and/or interacting with it in some way!
🔮 There are no limits on the amount of player characters that can be depicted in an art submission!
🔮 You are allowed to depict characters as either gijinka or feral! But you cannot do a mix of the two -- either all characters are shown in gijinka form or all characters are shown in feral form!
Skres is the exception to this however, and can be encountered in her feral Giratina form even if player characters are portrayed as gijinkas!
