A fancy pigeon is any breed of domestic pigeon with a fancy feather pattern. Fancy pigeons are bred to show in poultry shows by many enthusiasts.

If you want to start raising pigeons, it's important to know the difference between fancy pigeons and utility pigeons. Utility pigeons are the kind most people are familiar with: homing, messenger and tippler (pigeon racing) pigeons. Fancy pigeons are the wide variety of breeds including frillback, jacobin, lahore, pouter, nun, owl and others.

It's the same with any other project. If you want to do great work, you can't just do what you think is possible, or what people tell you is possible. You have to ignore everyone else and listen only to your own judgment, which is at first going to be terrible but gets better over time, if you keep working.
