See: Fanel Greenwood, Elves, Order of the Forgotten
My name is Fanel Greenwood (220), I am the son of the old King and Queen of the Wood Elves. When I was little Goblins raided our city, and abducted me. I grew up as their slave, their pet, their toy. After decades I was finally freed by Dwarfs that attacked their encampment. They told me my people died, so I had nothing to go back to. I lived with my Dwarven parents for 40 years, until their passing 130 years ago. I went out into the world with my girlfriend, who died a few months after. I spend a couple of years wandering in grief, and a couple more back in Omega. I then headed south in search of purpose, and after about 10 more years a voice spoke to me. He granted me the power to make a difference. For the last 110 years I have been seeking justice for everyone I encounter, and I don’t care how I find it.
11/3/10482. Heiring from the royal Wood Elven family of Greenwood, of the Highmoon Kingdom, his first years were rich, wealthy, and peaceful. Roaming the surrounding woods, Fanel became very fond of the wild, particularly the animals. Often spending time playing with the wolves and birds, rather than with his own kind. Following a Goblin raid, his people were all slaughtered, with Fanel being the sole survivor, even though he lived in captivity. After three decades being nothing more than a Goblin toy he was rescued by Dwarfs of the Ironsword Omega base. Their noble family, Lord Orrin and Lady Froya Longbeard, took them in. Fanel soon grew rather fond of their daughter Drana. But he knew he’d outlive them all with hundreds of years.
When their parents died, he and Drana set out on an adventure. Their first stop was the ruins of Highmoon. There he scavenged for hours searching for artifacts that might have survived. It was there where he found his master longbow and greatsword. He began training with his bow and soon became quite skilled with it, and it was then that he finally found a patron he could believe in, Tamara, Goddess of nature, but also of Druids and Shifters. After some weeks their little camp got attacked by some Orcs that had been trailing them, and they killed Drana before he could take action. Filled with grief he set out again, this time, all alone.
He spent weeks, months, years, wandering the woods and plains. He hunted animals and monsters, and fought off many Goblins and Orcs. He even went back to Omega for a while, but there was no one there for him. Many more years had passed until a voice spoke to Fanel. A voice that wanted to give him purpose, and power. All in trade for loyalty. This voice was Rhowar, and this is how he became a part of the Shadow Pact. This is how fanel became a druid as well. He has been in his service for well over 100 years now.
He was for a while tracking Jen, but not anymore.
A male Wood Elf standing 6 ft 5” tall. He has long black waving hair and golden yellow eyes. He’s dressed with an armor of leather, leaves, and pieces of bark. He carries a cunning longbow and a graceful Elven greatsword. From his time in Goblin captivity, he has scars from whips and claws all over his back. And one scar from the left side of his forehead across his nose to his cheek, which is most likely from a claw or sword.
Having lived a Goblin hell, Fanel doesn’t open easily. But this is also the reason he went out in pursuit of justice. Growing up without a moral sense, he doesn’t like rules and laws and doesn’t care about them. Since he was 14 he hasn’t seen his parents, so he remembers only very little about them, or of his hometown for that matter. Due to his captivity, he came to hate and despise the Goblins, but he also learned their language and customs.
Growing up without the Elvish customs, he does not honor the Elven God Elunora, nor did he come to worship the Dwarven God Chious. He protects those who can’t protect themselves, and hunts those who hunt the innocent.
