The Dwarves are possibly the oldest race alive. They have been around about as long as the Elves, but never became subject to the amounts of magic that changed the original Elves. The Dwarves were always a sturdy and proud race, being well known for their expert craftsmanship, with both cities, and weapons. Since thousands of years ago, many Dwarves favored to live underground, or in the mountains. These Dwarves are now just slightly different from the other ones. One who wouldn't pay much attention would never notice the difference between the two. The diversity in living situations did make for the fact that the Dwarves now have two capital cities, Minersden and Iron Tower.
Minersden is located in the mountains south of Mountain's Reach. It is led by a council of the five residing clans. Each of these clans is responsible for a certain job within the city.
The Firehammer Clan are the best blacksmiths around. They are a noble and self-righteous lot, expecting much of their children. On certain occasions, this has led to them driving away their own children, like with Darkal.Â
Thordarm is Darkal's cousin and took over his shop when he disappeared.
The Dragonrock Clan is responsible for taming and training Orange Dragons for labor. Though these Dragons are trained to do their work, they are nowhere near being slaves. The Dragonrock Clan sees them as friends and companions.
The Goldskin Clan houses some of the best jewelers around. They are rich and arrogant, often buying themselves out of trouble. They own the biggest houses and largest gardens.
The Silvertongue Clan are known for their silver tongue. They are merchants of trade and make it a sport to strike impossible deals. With their most charismatic personalities, they have driven many Dwarves broke.
The Blackhand Clan are strong workers and hard miners. They are the real workforce of Minersden. Working in the mines collecting gemstones, platinum, silver and gold, and even mithral.
Iron Tower is run by three main clans. Each controls a different important aspect of the city.
The Longbeard Clan are wise and rather patient Dwarves. They most often deal with the diplomatic aspects of ruling a Kingdom.
The Stone-Iron's are resilient and strong, making up a large portion of the army, and it's leadership.
The Skyaxe Clan are famous Griffon tamers, riding them into battle. They control the guard of the city, and scouting missions.
The Gnomes are a tinkerish people often inventing new things. One of their latest discoveries is firearms. They sold some to their Halfling allies in Eastern Valley through the black market.
Tinkertop is the capital city of the "normal" Gnomes.
Sandhole is the capital of the Sand Gnomes deep into the Desert of Lost Souls.
Tradeston is one of the largest Halfling cities. It also has the biggest black market around. Tradeston is one of the only places where someone could buy a firearm.
Beluir is a Halfling city in Juncture Jungle.
