Church

The Church is the main religious group of most of Central and Eastern Eximagdra, specifically the Human and Dwarven Kingdoms, including the Halfings of Eastern Valley. The Church or worshippers of "the Light", a concept used in many ancient tomes and stories, but something no one really knows much about these days. They don't have access to the Light, nor can they use it in any way. Their priests aren't messiahs or prophets, they don't know either. Instead, they worship the thought of the Light and strive to one day find it. Common phrases are those like "May you find the Light", "Towards the Light", "May the Light illuminate your path", and other similar phrases indicating a desire or wish to uncover "the Light". They are sometimes zealous and can be extreme at times, though they do not intend harm on anyone, though this doesn't always show. They have footholds high in Human society especially and are starting to have the same in the Dwarven Kingdoms.

They are the polar opposite of the Church of Darkness, a church or cult under the secret leadership of Elaya Shadowvoid that worships the thought of Darkness, Shadows, Void, etcetera.
