African Union Council in The 5th Committee Session
Speaking of developing peacekeeping missions in RECs context, stated by Delegate of Uganda, they perceive that the problem with the African Union and RECs coordination is there is a different understanding of the principle between both entities on the subsidiarity principle and it leads the coordination to be disordered when both entities encounter certain cases, particularly related to to peace and security issues.
Right after that, in the unmoderated causus, discussing about monetization of normatory contribution in African Union council, Delegate of Chad stating that they are not relying completely to European Union and external parties. They are opening up new path for member states to contribute easily, offering flexibility and further enhancing trust to each others. They also added that one currency is a roadmap that does not need to be established throughout Africa ats the same time, rather than that, implement it step by step with one REC to another and in the end it will encompass the whole Africa.
