Lord’s Resistance Army, or better known as LRA, is an extremist Christian militia group which began its operation in 1988, focusing on Uganda, especially Northern Uganda. LRA’s main objective is to rule Uganda based on Biblical commandments. But in 2004, LRA decided to widen their activities to several countries located in African continent such as Central African Republic, Sudan, South Sudan, and also DR Congo. In order to achieve its objectives, LRA has done several thereatening actions, including children abduction, sexual violence, looting and destroying citizens property, as well as illegal ivory trade. With that being said, the existence of LRA in the African continent terrorizes people’s life and security which delays the fulfillment of global peace and condition of welfare for all.
