The International Press Institute (IPI) or better known as Press Corps is an association of media coming from up to 100 countries all across the world. Its main objectives are to create media freedom and ensure media’s survivability from intervention and retaliation. In order to fulfill their mandates, the IPI has several main functions including conducting advocacy with the government, raising awareness on violations of media freedom, leading campaigns to make changes, and providing a platform for cooperation and negotiation among journalists.
