The Misuse of Aid

Possible solution to prevent the misuse of aid, the topic that was being proposed by Delegates of French Republic in the first first motion of the United Nations Economic and Social Council. Delegates of Turkey said that local stakeholders and public society play a big role in this prevention, specifically in monitoring the use of the aid. On the other hand, there are some delegates stating that it is important to find the root causes instead of finding the best prevention. Transparency is often mentioned by many delegates as one of the factors in this issue. However, many countries highly condemn the act of misusing aid.
