ASF, an Issue on Sexual Misconducts?

Acknowledging the issues of ASF in AU notion raises doubts in implementing them to strive for peace. Many Nations on the African Union express their concerns on ASF’s feasible peace planning to integrate it with ACRIC, with Egypt pointing out ASF’s lack of training, initiating many nations to propose a motion to harmonize ASF ‘s leadership, now the act of harmonisation is one of those that is inherently present in many organizations falling out of organizational capabilities as such. This action would in a way decrease the number of incompetent leaders and soldiers, which not only often caused fails in their given missions, but also the wrongdoings of these initiatives which includes sexual exploitations.

Sexual Exploitations are happening in a UN initiative which not only victims could not blame the initiative they could also not suffice to sue any of them. In the past Geneva conventions, sexual exploitations are condemned, this issue should be abolished as it is contradictory in nature of which the sexual predators are not given any repercussions, many nations such as Egypt and Niger are proposing to favour changes in the international Law. Accountability of such should be in the highest forms as possible as sexual misconducts is one of the worst crimes that humans could act on, the wars or conflicts are one of the reasons that sexual exploitations are rampant as sexual needs are believed to be absent during these times of crisis, and the only thing to suffice this issue by the soldiers is to legitimize any ways to achieve those natural obligations.

The most realistic solution that is to be of consideration is the one from South Africa, which suggest that when operating those initiatives should be indicted to the local jurisdiction so they could be properly prosecuted according to their regional factors, UN should allow this initiation as most of the nations could prosecute these disgusting crimes in their ways without UN ever interrupting. The fact that these misconducts could even disrupt the mandate in which the PSO’s are executing, is detrimental to the organizations themselves.
