Misusing Pandemic Funds for Personal Needs

Economic issues related to money are a very common problem during this pandemic. People need money to get food, shelter, and other personal needs that are part of human rights. More over on this pandemic, when many people were unemployed but the needs of goods arose. To help citizens fulfill their needs, governments are working together with international organizations to get funds to support people. Help from international organizations during this pandemic is not only about giving money but physical support for people’s healthcare such as vaccines, drugs, etc.

The majority of the country that is being helped by IO is a developing country which is affected by covid crisis. Unfortunately, some of the funds did not reach the people because it had been misused by the government or political powers. The local government disrupted the procedure of the aids and made the funds even less because of the practice of the corruptions. This is such a pity because international organizations wanted to help people but people never receive the help. Government has to evaluate the system and to have strict monitoring to assure that the helping funds can reach the people.
