Uganda’s Leading the Council
As what had happened, today (28/02), Uganda is leading a solution for the children's labor issue. Uganda had held a solution and developed countries such as the Netherlands and China had been agreeing to this solution. The agreement is about receiving funds from two countries and in return the two nations will get a legal employee from the countries who received the funds. As stated by the Netherlands delegate, this is a “win-win” solution for both parties. Is it really a “win-win” solution? Will the developed country get a skillful employee who has the same value with the funds given? Uganda also led the committee sessions by questioning Rwanda’s solution about children's laborers to make a program that combines police and school for law enforcement. Uganda has been giving strong kicks for other delegates.
Beside Uganda’s strong kicks, writers also notice the sincerity of the delegates to solve human’s peace problems. As discussed by the delegates talk about AU and DISEC that has been talking about peace breaking problems and to solve sexual abuse and issues that might affect women. Delegates have been answering journalist’s hard questions well and this fact shows how delegates really want to solve human’s peace issues.
