What is Light?
Today's Activity:
We discussed about the properties of Light.
1. Light travels in a straight line.
2. Light travels much faster than sound.
3. Light travels VERY FAST - about 300,000 kilometers per second or 186,000 miles per second.
4. Light can create shadows. SHADOWS are created when they are blocked by an object.
Note: Please send the picture of your copy in the album.
Homework:
In preparation for our next class, please look for the Thai translation of the following words:

Mixing Materials
For this week, we discussed about the different results of mixing materials.
Examples:
coconut milk + sugar = Thai Desserts
plaster + paper pulp = Paper Mache

1. Strength- is the ability of the material to support heavy weight without breaking.
2. Hardness- is the ability of the material to withstand scratches.
3. Buoyancy- is the ability of the material to float.
4. Flexibility- is the ability of the material to bend without breaking.
