Tasks: In this week, you learned about traditional Thai art, which is primarily composed of Buddhist art and scenes from the Indian epics, and that traditional Thai paintings usually consist of book illustrations, and painted ornamentation of buildings such as palaces and temples. You also saw examples of art patterns that were locally designed. For the classwork, your were tasked to draw any pattern that you could see around the temple, school, and places in the local area that show Thai pattern. Make it clean and beautiful. Date: January 10- 14, 2022

Tasks: In this week, you learned about how local visual artwork of the local Thailand started. You learned some examples of sculptures and activities used in daily lives, in earning a living, and in doing religious ceremonies. Also, we discussed about the use of different shades of color, that light colors are the opposite of dark colors, and that using these in one drawing is encouraged to add attractiveness and depth to your artwork.

For the classwork, your were tasked to recreate through a drawing objects from the local artworks such as Ban Chiang Pottery, Nang Talung (shadow play materials), baskets, and a lot more. See the example artwork.

Tasks: In this week, you learned about scribble art, which is a drawing composed of random and abstract lines, generally without ever lifting the drawing device off of the paper. Scribbling is most often associated with young children and toddlers. Adults also scribble, although generally it is done jovially, out of boredom, or as a form of abstract art.

For classwork, you were tasked to make your scribble artwork. You can make an abstract piece or a scribble of formed object like flowers, fruits, toys, and the like. Make it clean and attractive, and then upload to the album. See the example artwork.

Tasks: Today, you learned the vocabulary useful for the unit test such as depressing, rejoiced, needed comfort, strength, weakness, durable, discouraging, etc.

Tasks: The classwork and homework is to complete Visual Art book pages 85, 86 and 87. In completing the drawings in these pages, follow the guidelines of making a face. Page 85 is about drawing three faces of your friends showing three different emotions. P. 86 is drawing what activity did you do this morning and describing it using a sentence, example "I washed the dishes after I ate breakfast." P. 87 is on sketching your learning space at home - study table, sofa, television, fridge or anything around you while learning at home.

Tasks: You learned about the things that one can draw from memory and from what he/ she is looking at. You also learned about that to improve as an artist, you should try to draw new things, sketch from imagination, do work plan for an artwork, and practice drawing with balance. The classwork is to draw toys (ball, train, and teddy bear) at the center of the drawing sheet with good arrangement and balance, that is with enough size and space around the objects. Color your work with light and dark shades including the background.

Tasks: You practiced drawing/ sketching a face using the basic steps of using guidelines. You used these sketched faces to show emotions/ feelings in an artwork. You learned that the most important parts of the facial drawing are the eyebrows, lips, and eyes so as to show emotions. The classwork and homework is to sketch two faces expressing sadness and happiness applying the discussed steps. Tasks: You learned about the three classes of things you can draw (events, emotions, and things around you). You also identified drawings that are connected to certain emotions and feelings.

How would you feel when you are celebrating your birthday party with family? Your artwork today is about this. Drawing what you feel- happy faces, cakes, balloons, pets, gifts and many more. You were tasked to make your drawing clean and beautiful with blended colors and dark outlines. The picture is an example of expected artwork.

Tasks: You practiced making your bas- relief sculpture or low- relief sculpture, which is a technique in which figures and/or other design elements are just barely more prominent than the (overall flat) background.

You were tasked to make an underwater scenery with your clay/ playdoh on a paper background. If you feel not satisfied with your artwork, repeat and make a better version. Please send your artwork's photo to the Line album.

Tasks: You performed the two ways to make a scaly texture- by directly sculpting on a material and by using separate materials. You also learned about some safety reminders when working with clay. Finally, you were tasked to create a simple sculpture of a fish, making its scaly texture made from separate materials. If you feel not satisfied with your artwork, repeat and make a better version. Tasks: You learned more about sculpture as a visual art that has three dimensions (3D). Materials and equipment for making sculptures were also discussed this week. You were able to read and understand the content of Visual Art book pages 51 through 54. For classwork, textures of sculptures were focused. You were tasked to draw six squares and fill these with varied textures. This must be drawn in an A4 sheet of paper or, better, in your drawing book. Nickname, student number and other information like in the picture should be written on your paper before you send this to the Line album.

Tasks: You answered the unit test found in Visual Art book page 46 to 47. Further, you completed the drawing and colouring artwork evaluation activity on page 44 wherein you made a nature drawing from the environment around your school. You were asked to write something about it such as the name of the picture, things you admire in your own artwork, things to improve and how to do do it, as well as the artwork creator which is your name. Also, the video is for you to understand more of what nature drawing is, as well as good colouring and outlining techniques .

Activity: You learned about still figures, proportion, hand gestures and the basic steps to draw. As the classwork, you DREW A STILL FIGURE AND COLORED IT COMPLETELY; the advice was to use darker shade of color for the outlines of the drawing, and include the background space with color.
