Base Features (12 FP)

Lesser Elohim (5 FP): Deep Ones are physical manifestations of their souls, and are immune to many of the weaknesses of material life. They do not need to eat or sleep, but can meditate for an hour to gain the effects of a full rest. They are not affected by toxins, pathogens or other things that are contingent on a material body. Likewise, they are immune to Features that would rely on biological reactions.

Split Will (4 FP): A Deep One can control a number of clones at a time equal to twice their Smart Ass. As an action, a Deep One can touch and gain control of a soulless clone.

Anatomical Control (2 FP): Deep Ones can control their biology to the degree that they can change their physical form as they wish. As an action, they can take on the appearance of any creature.

The Deep One takes on the form, Height and Weight of anything they change into, but does not gain any Features or other mechanical changes.

Swimmer (1 FP): Deep Ones can move three dimensionally in water at 10 ft. faster than their speed.

Racial Inheritance (0 FP): Deep Ones were created by the Low King directly, only a couple thousand having ever been made. Due to this, there can only be a limited number of Deep Ones at a time.

When a Deep One is killed and their soul is dissipated, they leave behind an indestructible crystal that serves as their core.

Another sapient creature with enough available FP for the Deep One clan can take an action to absorb the crystal, gaining all the Features of the Deep One clan. The new Deep One gains access to all the memories of the Deep One.

Although it is possible for a Deep One to produce offspring through Features or other methods, they do not innately have the ability to reproduce and any offspring they do create do not gain any Features of the Deep One clan.

Timeless (0 FP): Deep Ones do not age no matter how much time passes.

Optional Features

Clone Master (1 FP): Some Deep Ones specialize in manufacturing clones for both themselves and others to control. By adding a piece of a living creature’s tissue, such as blood or living skin, to a specially prepared vat of nutritious liquid, they can grow a clone of the creature. The Deep One can prepare this liquid from any biologically nutrient rich matter, such as animal parts or nutritionally diverse food stuffs.

After 12 minus the Deep One’s Smart Ass full rests, a physical replica of the original creature will finish growing within the vat, after which it may be removed. The vat must be large enough to hold the mature form of the cloned body. The body is alive, but has no noticeable Features.

Extra Minion (Varies): Some Deep Ones can control more creations at once than their peers, allowing them to control more clones. Any amount of FP can be put into this Feature. For each FP spent on this Feature, the Deep One can control one more clone at a time.
