Environment: Dreamwilds
Population: Low
Base Features (42 FP)
Immortality (20 FP): As a being formed of pure divine mana, a God cannot die. By the very nature of divine mana, they are immune to the Death Damage Condition.
Divine Vitality (12 FP): All Damage Conditions only affecting their physical body are removed after 24 seconds, without the need to take actions.
Divine Mana (6 FP): In the beginning, the first Gods created mana and made it part of themselves. Now, the Gods wield that first and most powerful mana to serve their will. Using that divine mana, they can change the world to meet their desires.
They define what they want to happen and how long it will take to make it happen. The Game Master determines the DC, which the player must beat with a Divinity Check (1d12 + Smart Ass). The DC can be lowered by increasing the time required or reducing the power of the effect.
Patron (2 FP): Gods are designed as the rulers and custodians of the realms, being above all else by their own declaration. To enable this management, they can empower mortal agents to help carry out their will and maintain their control.
This allows them to make Chosen Ones to enforce their will. They can create a new Chosen One by using Divine Mana to create an entirely new creature, which has the Cleanser Feature and Champion Features of their choice. The DC to create the new Chosen One should be determined by the Game Master and incorporate the total FP the Chosen One is being created with.
Alternatively, a preexisting creature that pledges its will to them can be made into a Chosen One without the need for a Divinity Check. They gain all knowledge known by such a creature, and an insight into its identity, at the time of its pledge.
If they choose, the creature becomes a Chosen One and gains the Cleanser Feature and Champion Features of their choice. However, the creature must have sufficient FP.
They can make Divinity Checks from any location one of their Chosen Ones inhabits, as if they were standing where the Chosen One is standing.
For 2 additional FP, they can see into the minds of their Chosen Ones, being aware of their thoughts and all their senses.
Mana Being (2 FP): The body of a God is formed of an amorphous materialization of divine mana mimicking living flesh. Due to this, when they return to maximum Hit Points, their body is healed of all injuries, leaving no scars or other blemishes.
As an action, they can change their manifested body into any form they wish. They take on the form, Height and Weight of anything they change into, but do not gain any Features or other mechanical changes.
Divine Genetics (0 FP): Although only the elder Gods are thought to have existed before the creation of mana, their numbers have grown gradually since the progenitors of their species.
Since Gods are only fecund with each other when they wish, the birth of a new God is uncommon when compared to other species. This is exacerbated by the fact that Gods are born with only the base Features of the God clan.
As amorphous shapeshifters, Gods can either bear or sire offspring depending on their current form.
When a God mates with another species, the copulation will always result in offspring. The offspring will be of the non-God parent’s species, but gains all base Features of the God clan excluding Immortality, Divine Vitality, Patron and Mana Being.
In addition, it gains the Half-Mortal Feature. This does not prevent the offspring from buying back the Half-Mortal Feature or buying any Feature of the God clan, potentially developing into a full God.
Imbue Divinity (0 FP): It is possible for a God to plant a seed of divine mana into a mortal creature, making it a demi-God. While touching a non-God creature, they can make a Divinity Check. If the Check has a result of 60 or higher, it gains all base Features of the God clan excluding Immortality, Divine Vitality, Patron and Mana Being.
In addition, it gains the Half-Mortal Feature. This does not prevent the creature from buying back the Half-Mortal Feature or buying any Feature of the God clan, potentially developing into a full God. If the creature has the Essence Mutant clan, it looses all Features of the Essence Mutant clan.
Timeless (0 FP): Gods do not age no matter how much time passes.
Optional Features
Divine Might (3 FP): The God has exceeded the bare minimum to qualify for godhood, approaching the horrifying might of the true Gods. The results of their Divinity Checks are increased by 1. This feature can be taken multiple times.
Domain (1 FP): The results of Divinity Checks to achieve effects related to one of their domains are increased by 1. This Feature can be taken multiple times, its effects stacking upon themselves.
Half-Mortal (-6 FP): Being formed of divine mana attempting to be contained in a mortal body, demi-Gods are often unstable. They reduce the results of Bad Ass Checks to contribute to the Combat Bad Ass of their side by 2.
