Base Features (-4 FP)
Will Of The Patron (-4 FP): The Chosen One has behavior they must follow. The conditions of this behavior are determined by their patron when they gain the Chosen One clan and should be appropriate for the cost of this Feature.
The Game Master is encouraged to adjust the FP cost of this Feature based on the inconvenience it causes. If the Game Master rules that the player is failing to follow the specified behavior, the Game Master takes control of the character until this has been corrected. Creatures immune to mental tampering cannot have this Feature.
Optional Features
Champion Of Leadership (10 FP): When the Chosen One makes a roll to persuade creatures to their cause or lead those already with them, they can add 4d4 to the result. This is treated as a Champion Feature.
Champion Of Obedience (8 FP): When the Chosen One makes a Kick Ass Check to contribute to the Combat Kick Ass of their side, the Game Master should determine if any of the opposing sides contains a creature that is a tear one, two or three transgressor.
An average creature, who is not completely innocent of going against the rules of their patron at some point in its life, is tear one. A creature who has frequently gone against their patron’s rules is tear two. A creature who makes violating their patron’s rules a major part of its life and personality is tear three.
If a creature is a tear one, they increase their sides Combat Kick Ass by 1 against the creature’s side. If a creature is a tear two, they increase their sides Combat Kick Ass by 3 against the creature’s side. If a creature is a tear three, they increase their sides Combat Kick Ass by 9 against the creature’s side. If the target creature is completely innocent and has no tear, they cannot contribute to Combat Kick Ass against the creature’s side. This is treated as a Champion Feature.
Avatar (4 FP): Whether originally the case or the result of their patron consuming its Chosen One, they are not separate from their patron. Instead, they are merely a fragment.
Since they are simply a greatly reduced version of their patron, a fraction of its true existence, they can make their own choices. They are likely to remain with similar values, but have free will. This negates Will Of The Patron. This is treated as a Champion Feature.
Champion Of Fricken Laser Beams (3 FP): The Chosen One can shoot a mystical laser that can damage creatures at a distance. They increase the results of Kick Ass Checks to contribute to the Combat Kick Ass of their side by 1. This Feature can be purchased repeatedly, increasing the results by 1 each time. This is treated as a Champion Feature.
Note: For patrons who are just asking for Chosen Ones with fricken laser beams.
Champion Of Life Ascendant (1 FP; Varies): Any amount of FP can be spent on this Feature. As twelve actions while touching a creature, the Chosen One can give it Features of their choice with a total FP cost equal to or less than the cost of this Feature minus one. The creature must have sufficient FP available to have the given Features manifest.
Any creature affected by this Feature gains Bearer Of Life Ascendant. This is a zero FP Feature identical to Champion Of Life Ascendant, except it can only give other creatures the exact same Features the creature was given. This is treated as a Champion Feature.
Champion Of The Called (1 FP): As an action, the Chosen One can touch a creature and place a fragment of their patron’s essence into its mind.
Their patron may send visions or dreams to the creature, offering promises of power or eternal salvation to it in exchange for its help.
As part of such deals, the Chosen One’s patron may give new Features to the creature, but only if the total FP cost of all given Features equals zero or less. Their patron adds 2d4 to all Smart Ass Checks made in this persuasion. This is treated as a Champion Feature.
