Like their creator, Cats remain enigmatic to the core.
Height: Cat Height
Weight: Cat Weight
Environment: Any
Population: Medium
Speed: 20 ft.
Base Features (5 FP)
Feline Maw (6 FP): As an action, the Cat can swallow any item they can easily carry on their own to transport it to their world or regurgitate the item to return it.
This means that they cannot swallow an entire building, unless they are strong enough to carry the building, but they can swallow and transport every individual brick that composed that building. Items derived from matter transported to their world can be removed without dissipating, even if they have been changed within their world.
As twelve actions, they can make a Kick Ass Check (1d12 + Kick Ass) against a targeted creature, which may make a Bad Ass Check (1d12 + Bad Ass) to resist being swallowed. If they succeed, the creature is transported to their realm under the same conditions as objects.
Tentacles (2 FP): A Cat can use their tentacles to wrestle other creatures. They add 1d4 to the results of Kick Ass Checks made to hold or move creatures with their tentacles.
For 2 additional FP, they add another 1d4 to Kick Ass Checks made to hold or move creatures with their tentacles. This additional cost can be taken repeatedly.
Fast (1 FP): A Cat increases their Speed by 10 ft.
Reproduction (0 FP): As an action, a Cat can produce a fertilized egg. After 6d2 full rests, a egg will hatch into thousands of Cat larvae. It takes 60d10 years for a larvae to reach maturity, at which point it dissolves into a tumorous blob that grows over the span of 1d6 minutes before bursting and releasing a new Cat.
A creature must make a DC 6 Check (1d12 + Bad Ass) in order to not regurgitate a consumed Cat larva. If it succeeds, it gains the Cat Infestation Damage Condition.
Each full rest with Cat Infestation, its functional Kick Ass and Bad Ass are reduced by 1. When its functional Bad Ass would be reduced to zero, it gains the effects of the Unconscious Damage Condition.
After this, it becomes a tumorous mass that forms a protective shell, reducing the results of Checks made to physically harm the creature by 6.
After eight months, the creature loses the Cat Infestation Damage Condition and emerges with all base Features of the Cat clan.
Unworldly Corruption (0 FP): The influence of the Unknown Enigma within a Cat’s being opens them up to their potential patron. They are always aware of the Unknown Enigma’s existence and what could be bargained for.
At any time, they can offer themselves up to the Unknown Enigma, becoming a Chosen One and gaining power in exchange for service. They must have sufficient FP to gain whatever Features they gain from becoming a Chosen One.
World Within (0 FP): A Cat contains a realm within their soul, in which they can manifest a personal avatar.
Over a full rest, they can change any aspect of their realm. If their realm becomes physically traversable with a realm not under their control, objects originating in their realm dissipate harmlessly into nothingness when removed.
Cucumisphobia (-4 FP): When Cats see a cucumber, they have 3d6 actions to escape line of sight with the cucumber or gain the Unconscious Damage Condition.
Note: It is the solum duty of the Game Master to make this come up as much as possible.
Optional Features
Laser Cats (3 FP): The Cat can shoot a lazar capable of damaging creatures at a distance. They increase the results of Kick Ass Checks to contribute to the Combat Kick Ass of their side by 1. This Feature can be purchased repeatedly, increasing the results by 1 each time.
In addition, any creature given the Death or Unconscious Damage Condition by the use of their lazars will gain all base Features of the Cat clan, provided it has sufficient FP available.
Aqueous Teleport (1 FP): When partially or completely submerged in a body of water or similar liquid, the Cat involuntarily teleports to an empty space of their choice within 10 ft.
Time Dilation (1 FP): The Cat can halve or double the rate of time within their world relative to their physical bodies time. This Feature can be taken repeatedly, meaning that the possible degree of dilation doubles each time it is taken.
Will Of The Unknown Enigma (-2 FP): Everyone and everything is a possible target for generating confusion and disbelief at their actions. Whenever possible, the Cat will perform whatever action most confuses others, choosing choices no one reasonably should. They always hold this as a core goal.
If the Game Master rules that the player is failing to follow this behavior, the Game Master takes control of the character until this has been corrected. Creatures immune to mental tampering cannot have this Feature.
For 2 additional FP, they become one and the same with the Unknown Enigma, becoming an avatar. As a fragment of the Unknown Enigma’s unexistence, they can make their own choices and are not bound to any goal.
For 1 additional FP, whenever making a Check to perform an action that no one would normally attempt, they add 1d4 to the result. This additional cost can be paid repeatedly, adding another 1d4. The cost increases by 1 each time.
