Puliti, Gianluca

My name is Gianluca Puliti and I have been living in Chicago, Illinois since May 2016. Before leaving Bethlehem for a new job opportunity here in the Midwest, I was teaching Statistics (MATH150) and Physics I Lab (PHYS101) as an Adjunct Professor at NCC, main campus.

Since I moved to Chicago, I have been a Principal R&D Engineer at Becton Dickinson. In this role, I lead projects with the objective to develop new medical devices and drug products within the infection prevention platform. I am also a strong advocate for innovation, and I am a graduate of the Executive Education program on Biodesign at Stanford University (completed early March 2017). I hold a BS in Aerospace Engineering and a BS in Engineering Physics (both 2006) from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a PhD in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame (2012).

In my spare time I enjoy tennis, photography and sky watching with my telescope. However, my most favorite pass-time is being a father to our beautiful 10-month old, Sienna. My wife and I enjoy traveling with her downtown, taking strolls in the parks, and planning Sienna's first trip to my hometown in Central Italy.
