Cheryl attended Nassau Community College in Garden City, NY and went onto earn a bachelor’s from New York University. In 2010, she earned a master’s in developmental psychology from Columbia University, Teachers College. Shortly thereafter, Cheryl began teaching at Northampton Community College in 2011.
As a graduate student, Cheryl worked with student leaders at Nassau Community College creating a student leader workshop series. In addition, she was a guest speaker for the Psychology Club at Nassau Community College, Bergen Community College and Delaware Valley College.
In 2014, Cheryl was accepted to Fielding Graduate University’s clinical psychology doctoral program. She completed a clinical practicum at Foundations Behavioral Health where she worked with children and adolescents on their inpatient and residential unit. Cheryl is expected to graduate with a Ph.D. in clinical psychology in 2019.
In addition, Cheryl has taught psychology courses at the University of North Georgia, Bucks County Community College and Northern Virginia Community College.
