Welcome to Introduction to Business Online! I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself - my name is Michael B. Miller. I will be your instructor for the duration of this course as we explore different business theories and concepts, examine case studies and apply them in a variety of capacities. I am currently the Dean of Business, Technologies, and Health Sciences at Surry Community College in Dobson, NC. Prior to coming to SCC I was the Assistant Dean of Business & Technologies at Northampton Community College for 9 years. In addition to my administrative duties there I also taught this class in the face-to-face setting each semester. I am a huge sports fan and follow NASCAR, baseball, and golf. My favorite sport is football and I am a Miami Dolphins fan. As you can see from the picture I am a North Carolina Tar Heels fan. In case you were wondering....I am the one on the left!!
