Chloe Yelena Miller is a writer and teacher living in Washington, D.C., with her husband and their many books.
Chloe is bilingual in Italian (http://farelascarpetta.blogspot.com/) and spent four years living in Florence, Italy. She loves to cook and travel almost as much as she loves to write and read.
Her poetry chapbook, Unrest, is forthcoming from Finishing Line Press. She has writing published or forthcoming in the Poet’s Market, Cortland Review, Narrative, Alimentum, and Lumina, among others. Her poetry was a finalist for Narrative Magazine’s Poetry Prize and the Philip Levine Prize in Poetry. As an MFA candidate at Sarah Lawrence College, Chloe worked on Lumina and later on The Literary Review and Portal del Sol. She has participated in the Bread Loaf Writer’s Conference, the Vermont Studio Center residency and the A Room of Her Own’s writing retreat. She presents regularly at conferences, such as the annual Association of Writers & Writing Programs conference.
Chloe teaches writing online at Northampton Community College, Fairleigh Dickinson University and privately.
