I teach various philosophy courses at Northampton including Ethics and Moral Problems, Introduction to Philosophy, World Religions, and On Death and Dying. Additionally, I am working to complete my Ph.D. at Temple University. My dissertation focuses upon Simone de Beauvoir’s appeal to Hegelian philosophy throughout her work in an effort to reveal the differences in subjective development between men and women. My areas of specialty include: French Existentialism and Phenomenology, German Idealism, Feminism, Applied Ethics, and Race, Class, and Gender. Outside of philosophy my favorite activities include practicing yoga, going to the park with my dog, Simone, and traveling.
