Gordon, Elizabeth K

Elizabeth K. Gordon began teaching at the Monroe campus in 2003 and moved a few tears later to the on-line campus. She teaches English 101 and 151 (Writing I and II). She is an author as well as a slam poet. Her memoir Walk with Us: Triplet Boys, their Teen Parents and Two White Women who Tagged Along won an Indie Book award for multicultural non-fiction. She is also an adjunct at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (creative writing) and lives near Albany, New York, where she is a member of the Nitty Gritty Slam. She enjoys hiking, meditating and reading literary fiction, poetry and essays.
